Pikey Peak Trek
The Pikey Peak Trek is a short and scenic trekking route in Nepal, located in the lower Solukhumbu region. It is well known for offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Mount Everest, especially during sunrise and sunset. Reaching an altitude of about 4,065 meters, the trek is considered easy to moderate, making it suitable for beginners and those with limited time. Along the trail, trekkers pass through peaceful Sherpa villages, lush forests, and ancient monasteries, experiencing both natural beauty and local culture. 1. Arrival in Kathmandu transfer to hotel.
2. Drive from Kathmandu to Dhap Bazaar (Altitude 2850 meters). Duration: 8/9 hours of drive
3. Trek from Dhap Bazaar to Japre (Altitude 2815 meters) Walking Duration: 4/5 hours.
4. Trek from Jhapre to Pikey Base Camp (Altitude 3640 meters). Walking Duration: 6/7 hours.
5. Trek from Pikey Base Camp to Pikey Peak (Altitude 4065 meters) to Jase Bhanjyang (Altitude 3520 meters). Walking Duration 4/5 hours.
6. Trek from Jase Bhanjyang to Junbesi (Altitude 2680 meters). Walking Duration 5/ 6 hours.
7. Trek from Junbesi to Phaplu (Altitude 2380 meters) Walking Duration: 4/5 hours.
8. Drive from Phaplu to Kathmandu (Altitude: 1350 meters). Driving around 8/9 hours.
